Terms and Conditions
1. Sessions & Booking
Tutoring sessions are typically 60 minutes long and take place online (or in person, if agreed). Sessions must be booked in advance, and a regular time slot can be arranged for ongoing support.
2. Payment
Payment is due in advance of each session or in agreed monthly blocks. Sessions are only confirmed once payment has been received. Invoices or receipts can be provided upon request.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. If I need to reschedule for any reason, I’ll always give as much notice as possible and offer an alternative time.
4. Safeguarding & Confidentiality
I hold an Enhanced DBS and follow best practice in safeguarding. Any concerns about a student’s wellbeing will be handled sensitively and, if needed, discussed with a parent or carer. All session content is treated confidentially, but safeguarding always takes priority.
5. Learning Environment
Students are expected to arrive on time and ready to learn. I will always work to make sessions engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs. Parents are welcome to check in or ask questions about progress at any time.
6. Technical Issues (Online Sessions)
If a session is disrupted due to technical issues on my end, I’ll make sure to reschedule or make up the time. If the issue is on the student’s end, I’ll do my best to accommodate but may not be able to reschedule without notice.
7. Materials & Resources
Any additional resources or links shared are intended to support your child’s learning outside of sessions. Parents are encouraged to review these together with their child.
8. Ending Tuition
You can choose to pause or stop tuition at any time. If you're planning to end sessions, please give at least four week’s notice so I can bring the work to a close and share a final summary of your child’s progress.
